Burton Lane (February 2, 1912, New York City - January 5, 1997, New York City) was a composer and lyricist.

Lane (rattling title Burton Levy) was better known for his musicals, ''Finian's Rainbow and On a Clear Day You Can See Forever. He as well wrote music for films like Dancing Lady, Royal Wedding, & Some Like it Hot''. For the instance, he was president of the American Guild of Authors and Composers, during which time he campaigned against music piracy.
